  • Nasal CPAP masks are the most common type of mask with a wide array of styles and fit.

    Why choose a nasal mask?
Provides good stability and seal, plenty of styles and sizes to choose from both gel and silicone cushions available and parts are readily available. Philips Respironics ComfortGel and ResMed Mirage FX and AirFit N10 are amongst the most successful choices. Nasal hybrid masks such as the Philips Respironics Wisp and ResMed Swift Nano have smaller profiles and cover less facial area making for a comfortable choice if neither a nasal mask nor a pillow mask are satisfactory.

Nasal Pillow CPAP masks are becoming the standard choice amongst users who are new to CPAP or transitioning away from standard nasal masks.

Why choose a nasal pillow mask?
If offers minimal facial contacts, is extremely lightweght and comfortable, provides a clear field of vision and has very few parts. The downside is high pressure can irritate the nasal cavity or cause leakage. Nevertheless, the ResMed AirFit P10 and Swift FX along with the Philips Respironics Nuance and RespCare Aloha have quickly become the best in their category.

Full Face CPAP masks provide a solution for users who typically breathe through their mouth and don't want to use a chinstrap.

Why choose a full face CPAP mask?
It provides a comfortable solution for mouth breathers becoming more lightweight with some having clear field of vision, very stable with gel or silicone cushions and perfect alternative for when nasal congestion occurs. ResMed AirFit F10 and the Fisher & Paykel Simplus are two of the more requested full face masks.
